What this is

RBCivosocial is a research thread — not a shipped product yet. It sits at the overlap of civic systems, social infrastructure, and the institutional layers that med-tech often ignores until it's too late.

The core question: how do community-level social signals predict or influence health outcomes before they reach clinical systems?

Working hypotheses

  1. Social isolation metrics correlate with delayed care-seeking — but the data infrastructure to capture this at population scale barely exists.
  2. Civic engagement platforms generate behavioral signals that are clinically relevant but structurally incompatible with EHR data models.
  3. There's a build opportunity in the translation layer — not another social app, but infrastructure that makes social/civic data legible to research workflows.

Current status

Literature review in progress. Interviewing operators in community health and civic tech. Prototyping a minimal data schema for cross-domain provenance.
